For more information about the Public Service Auction contact Inez Gonzalez, Auction Director
The Cardozo Public Service Auction is a student-driven effort - Cardozo's largest fundraiser - that provides an opportunity for students to receive summer stipends for otherwise uncompensated internships in the public sector. A record number of students have applied for the 2011 Summer Stipend Program. We need your help to meet this great demand so more students than ever can be awarded stipends to provide legal services to the underserved.
This year's goal is to raise $500,000, the most ambitious ever. Success depends on the participation of the Cardozo community and we extend our gratitude in advance for your support.
Here are ways you can help:
1. Become a Sponsor. It's easy, just click here.
2. Bid on our Online Auction opening on Tuesday, March 15, 2011.
3. Donate an item. Items especially popular with our community includes air miles, restaurant certificates and sports tickets.
On the night of the Auction, April 7, 2011, the Silent Auction will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the Live Auction will begin at 7:45 p.m.
To purchase admission and 50/50 raffle tickets, please email Inez Gonzalez at email@example.com. Admission tickets are selling for $35 per ticket, and 50/50 raffle tickets are $100 per ticket. The raffle winner will be drawn at the live event, on the night of the auction, and will take home up to $25,000.
The Public Service Auction is organized by the Cardozo Public Interest Law Students Association and named in honor of Kathryn O. Greenberg ’82.
